Taken from the great children's illustrator, Kate Greenaway's works, Barbara has captured a delightful picture. In Barbara's words:
This is an easy design to sew. It comes in two sizes. It is five pieces that are seamed and glued together on the straight lines of the design. There is no matching except to keep the pieces in line so that they are even.
*There are no Jump Stitches (* except for a few jump stitches in the girls face).
There is a minimum color chart and a maximum color chart. Other shades of colors can be substituted at your discretion for those recommended.
It would be wonderful for a girls room as a wall hanging or framed and hung in any room. It could be used as the center of a quilt or on curtains or even on a girls dress bodice, book bag, or album cover. I hope you like it and if there is enough response I could make another set of separate designs of the "Young Girl in a Rose Garden".
