Barbara, one of our customers, sent me some photos her son had taken in Egypt. I thought they were perfect for a Window set. The shadows of the camel riders in the foreground remind us that there is much in Egypt that hasn't changed over the millennia. And under their feet, the ancient painting of Cleopatra on the Nile portrays all the treasures that still lie under the camels feet and the shifting sands.
For a smaller picture, you could stitch just the top 9 squares. For a larger picture, the 3 bottom squares could be repeated across the top. And of course you could make a mini picture of Cleopatra on her boat.
This set coordinates with our other Windows on the World design sets.
I can see these designs as appropriate for a quilt or coverlet in addition to wall pictures.
The small window is 12x16, the medium is 15x20 and the large is 18x24. You receive full instructions on various ways of putting your window together.
