You can give a great keepsake to new parents with a Baby's First Christmas stocking. You receive interchangeable designs to make either a girl stocking or a boy stocking and can also choose whether to have a puppy or a kitten. Or, use some of both the boys and girls! The wording is done in three color stops so you can use all or part of it and can also add your own lettering. Perhaps you could make this as a second Christmas stocking, or just put the child's name. I embellished the girl's stocking with crystals. some options instead of the lace trim would be large rickrack or even something like small ball fringe.
