Window - The Battle

The Chinese Dragon has 5 toes, unlike the Korean which has 4 and the Japanese which has three. The Chinese explain this as the dragon losing power as it moves away from it's origins. The dragon throughout Chinese history has represented water and weather. The horse, so entwined with the history of China, symbolizes power, strength and beauty. In this picture, two very powerful entities may be vying for top place as the most important symbol of Imperial power.
The medium size wall hanging is 10x20 inches and the large, 12 x 24 inches.
