Christmas Stocking II

A true Victorian style stocking in three sizes. The back of the stocking can also be used to make a stocking on it's own. I added purchased lace medallions to the one below. You can also interchange the plain large squares for one of the front squares and add your own designs or text. You will find you can make a lot of different stockings with this set. I used a plain pale gold silk for the sections, but you could also use many different fabrics and colors. I inserted a small gold lace trim in between the front and back while zigzagging them together. These designs are stitched with batting and backing completely in the hoop and just zig zagged together. You will receive full instructions. The finished stocking, without the loop, is 12.6 inches tall in the small size, 16 inches tall in the medium size and 18.8 inches tall in the large size.
