I created this set with the gift giving season in mind. I wanted a set of sophisticated designs that are easy to stitch and can go on so many different items. Though there is a lot of detail, the number of colors is minimized and there are few if any jumps to trim. These designs are appropriate for clothing, linens, curtains, aprons and totes. Try the ferns in metallic or variegated thread to embellish a scarf or blouse. The ferns would also be great for the corners of a table cloth or along the bottom of an apron or curtains. As you can see below, they will also combine well with the flowers for a more dramatic *statement*. The tall ferns in metallic or bright colors would look good going up the legs of a pair of jeans and add a flower for more pizzazz. The red rose with a fern could be used to make a picture on black velvet for that special spot. These designs were not appropriate for the smaller hoops, but I will have more of this type of set that will also have the small size.
