Touch of India
The Tiger was what first attracted me to these images. This is one form of embroidery from India that uses many forms from nature - animals, birds and flowers - for inspiration. There will be four sets in this series all together. The additional three sets are Elephants, Touch of India II, Cranes, Touch of India III and Pheasants, Touch of India IV.
The top picture is of a jacket back that I am making out of tan poly linen. I changed the colors to go with the outfit I am planning. I have also put the tiger eyes on one of the sleeves. The second large picture is a screen shot using the designs in the original colors. They also have a slightly different arrangement. I have included a template of the screen shot to get you started in placing your designs.
