Stained Glass Fantasy

These designs can be assembled in many ways. One would be to just sew them together along the edges of the squares. Another would be to sew them together and then add a row of black satin stitches between the squares to look like stained glass. You can piece them together with black fabric as I did in my sample below. You could also use white fabric or stitches to look like a window looking out on the fantasy scene. Or sew them together and then use a decorative stitch on your machine with some sparkly thread to set off the squares. You will receive ideas for different methods of putting these designs together.

The small set of designs will make a picture (without any borders added) 12"x16", the medium will be 15"x20" and the large, 17.5"x23".

Though a different theme, this set will coordinate nicely with Stained Glass The Swan & The Tiger. I have used many of the same colors and also some of the same foliage to tie the two embroideries together

NEW ADDITIONAL DESIGN: I have had some requests to put a satin stitch border around the designs so they can be stitched together after they are completed without extra fabric. I have included a design that has just the border in each size - if desired you can load this after you stitch your square and then stitch a satin border around the square.
