Egypt II

Egypt 1 concentrated on decorative Ancient Egyptian art. This set will concentrate on the Gods and Goddesses of ancient Egypt. The first design is Anubis, with the head of a jackal, he guided the dead through the underworld. He is said to be older than Osiris. The second design is Nekhbet, in the form of a vulture, the protector of mothers and children. She has been depicted as a Lady with a vulture headdress to a full vulture as here. Lady Isis is the third design. She is the ultimate symbol of fertility and motherhood. The second row of designs are Horus, a Winged Isis and Osiris. In the last row you first find the goddess Bast in her most cat like form, then the goddess Mut and the god Thoth.
