Quilt Squares

The herbal designs in this set are based on botanical art done before 1501. It was interesting comparing them to modern day plants. Some were very much the same and some very different! The redwork blocks are my own artwork following a Medieval theme. My mini quilt below, made from the medium size designs, is 25" x31". By combining the squares in different combinations along with the border designs you can make a quilt, wall hanging or place mats and runners of any size. Each design has an outline of the square that stitches last so you can decide whether you need it. I used it to make sure I cut all my squares the same size. :)
