I've always loved the look of variegated thread on the spool but haven't always happy with the stitched results. I have developed some techniques to minimize and soften the banding. The results are amazing! For example the first flower below has leaves done with just one variegated thread yet it looks like intricate shading has been used. I have some other techniques i will use in future sets. You receive four sizes of each design from small to jumbo.
