Magical Designs

I call these designs *Magical* because they had their beginnings in the Magical Ladies design set. I had drawn a table with a crystal ball for that set and really liked the look of the table legs and crystal ball. One night while watching River Dance on the DVD I played around with them and the matching bowl came to be during that show. I think the crystal ball now has more the look of the sun and moon and it might have just a bit of Celtic influence from watching the great Celtic dancers. After the bowl, I thought a set of borders and medallions was a perfect companion. I have stitched two of the designs below on a pair of finger tip towels. They would also make great designs for a shirt using either the frame with your initial or the square design for a pocket, and the buttonhole (the last design) and narrow borders for the front and sleeves. They are also very appropriate for table linens and curtain borders.
